LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - The LA Sports & Entertainment Commission’s (LASEC) exclusive Lakers All-Access: All-Star Edition (formerly Basketball 101) event will take place at STAPLES Centeron Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 5 p.m.  This is an officially sanctioned NBA event where guests can enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience, playing on the Lakers’ court and getting an insider’s look at one of the most successful NBA franchises.
 


With the 2010 MLB Postseason about to begin, Major League Baseball Productions (MLBP) and ESPN Films will look back at what many call the greatest comeback in the history of professional sports, the 2004 ALCS that saw the Boston Red Sox become the first team in history to erase a 3-0 deficit against their arch-rivals, the New York Yankees.  Four Days In October, a one-hour film and part of ESPN’s acclaimed 30 for 30 series, includes never-before-seen footage and takes an in-depth and exclusive look in “real-time” at the 96 hours that ended the “Curse of the Bambino,” brought salvation to Red Sox Nation and changed baseball history in the process.  Four Days In October premieres Tuesday, October 5 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.


September 8, 2010 – Laguna Niguel, CA – Life Changing Lives has announced the 2010 Honorees for its 3rd Annual Gala on Saturday, September 11, 2010.  The Honorees include: Olympic Gold Medalist Apolo Ohno, ABC’s “Good Morning America” host Robin Roberts and members of the legendary Tuskegee Airmen. Also being honored is a group of New York City Firemen who endured the events of 9/11. The Gala will be held at The Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel, California.  The event begins at 5:00 p.m. with a cocktail reception and the main program begins at 7:00 p.m.Holly Robinson-Peete, co-host of CBS’ new daily talk show “The Talk” and recent finalist on “Celebrity Apprentice” will serve as co-host for the event along with event co-chair Mindy Burbano Stearns. Performances throughout the night include NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” singer cancer survivor/”voice of an angel” Barbara Padilla; American Idol winner and recording star Taylor Hicks; renowned singers The Canadian Tenors; and actor/comedian and classically trained pianist Paul Reiser and recording artist Julia Fordham, along with a special introduction by Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen.

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 15, 2010) –Actress, author, philanthropist, and Season 3 Celebrity Apprentice all-time record setting fundraiser, Holly Robinson Peete, alongside her husband, retired NFL quarterback and author, Rodney Peete will host the 12th annual DesignCare benefitting  the HollyRod Foundation. The foundation has been raising funds since 1999 to provide support for those living with Parkinson’s disease and Autism.  The event will be held at Ron Burkle’s Green Acres Estate in Beverly Hills. Burkle is a long-time supporter of the HollyRod Foundation.
